疫情當(dāng)前，禁足在家，除了保證日常在線學(xué)習(xí)，DRS 升學(xué)中心為同學(xué)們準(zhǔn)備了在線競賽及線上英文演講/寫作比賽等活動，讓同學(xué)們足不出戶就能與國際賽事接軌，提升背景的同時也豐富了同學(xué)們課余時間。

In order for students to improve themselves during the time of the current epidemic, the DRS Application Centre has prepared a number of online resources including English speech and writing competitions.

NSDA 全美演講與辯論聯(lián)盟推出的 「China to the World」 線上英文演講與寫作大賽，本次比賽以 「China to the World」 為主題，分為英語演講和英語寫作兩大組別。同學(xué)們結(jié)合自己的優(yōu)勢，選擇適合的項目參賽。

The "China to the World" English Speech and Writing Competition, launched by the NSDA National Speech and Debate Alliance, is divided into the two main categories of English Speech and English Writing. Students choose the appropriate project in which to participate according to their own streng.

APEC 未來之聲中國區(qū)選拔活動，作為中國最具影響力的青年人才選拔和綜合培養(yǎng)平臺之一，參與比賽的同學(xué)們通過層層篩選，參與不同國家和地區(qū)的辯論賽，最終獲勝者將獲得真正參與 APEC 會議的資格。

APEC Voice of the Future is one of China's most influential platforms for selecting young talent and training them comprehensively. The participants compete in debating in different countries and regions and the final winner will be eligible to participate in APEC meetings.

全球最大規(guī)模的青少年數(shù)學(xué)競賽-澳大利亞袋鼠數(shù)學(xué)競賽。每年在全球有來自 87 個國家的 630 萬青少年參加此項賽事，比賽的宗旨是用有趣生動、接近生活的題目，去激發(fā)學(xué)生們的數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)興趣和自信，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的數(shù)學(xué)思維，提升學(xué)生閱讀理解、分析和解決問題的能力。

The Australian Kangaroo Mathematics Competition is the largest youth math competition in the world. Every year 6.3 million young people from 87 countries around the world participate in the competition which aims to stimulate students' interest and self-confidence in mathematics learning while developing their maths thinking, as well as improving their reading comprehension, analysis and problem-solving skills with interesting, vivid, life-oriented topics.

英國物理挑戰(zhàn)賽 （BPHO），是英國頂級水平的高中物理競賽，中英理科精英享有同等的奪獎機(jī)會。 3 月 15 日，DRS 的同學(xué)們已經(jīng)在線參加了本年度的比賽，由于在線考試的特殊性，為了保證考試的順利進(jìn)行，從考試前期的籌劃和準(zhǔn)備，到臨近考試前的網(wǎng)絡(luò)測試和模擬考試，同學(xué)們積極的配合老師的工作，家長們也全程參與了監(jiān)考工作。此次在線競賽的順利進(jìn)行為后續(xù)的各類線上活動打下良好的基礎(chǔ)。

The British Physics Challenge (BPHO), the UK's top-level high school physics competition, enables Chinese and British elite science students an equal opportunity to win a prize. On March 15th, DRS students participated in this year's competition online. In order to ensure the exam could be carried out successfully, pre-test planning and preparation, as well as network testing and simulation testing, was carried out beforehand. The students actively cooperated with the work of the teachers and parents also participated in the process of invigilating. The success of this online competition has enabled a good foundation for the follow-up online activities.
